But amidst all the good news, the film had its part of controversies originating from director Krish and some cast members of the film. Krish had accused the makers and Kangana of ill-treating him. He also accused that Kangana wanted everything to herself and she reduced the length of her co-stars. Actress Mishti also blamed her for cutting her role. Earlier, actor Sonu Sood had also walked out of the film after the actress took over as the director.
Recently, Kangana’s co-actor Taher Shabbir came in support of the actress. Taher said for him its Kangana’s film since he never met Krish and doesn’t know what he shot. The actor also questioned the industry’s silence on the same. Taher also noted that when men in the industry take people out from films, there is no controversy on that ever. The actor questioned then why is everyone making such a big controversy on this film.
Speaking about Kangana, Taher said he knows the actress personally and professionally. People say a lot about her but one can’t take away from her that she is a thorough professional.
Reacting to Krish accusing Kangana of taking Manikarnika’s credit, Taher said that it is not a big issue and can be sorted out by talking. The actor also noted that something must have happened as there is no smoke without fire.
